The article describes the relevance of anxiety-depressive disorders, some modern features of the legislative framework for the anxiety-depressive spectrum disorders diagnosis, some results of the first observational multicenter study of paroxetine prescription in Belarus by primary care physicians for patients with anxiety-depressive disorders. Recommendations for primary care physicians to improve the patient compliance with the anxiety and depressive disorders are presented as well.
