Objective. To study the effect of extracorporeal bacterial endotoxin elimination with the help of “LPS-hemo” hemosorbent on changes of the hemodynamic parameters in patients with sepsis after liver transplantation.
Materials and methods. The hemodynamic state during the hemosorption with the help of PiCCO technology in patients with clinical signs of the systemic inflammatory response syndrome was studied in the postsurgical period of orthotopic liver transplantation using clinical and laboratory research methods. The hemosorptions duration and number were determined individually for every patient. The data obtained was processed statistically using the Microsoft Exel 2000 and STATISTICA 8.0.
Conclusion. The studies have shown that even a single blood perfusion through a mass transfer module helped improve the tissue perfusion, reduce the cyanosis of the skin amount, reduce the chills frequency and severity, clarify consciousness and improve the well-being.
