In those cases when a patient’s health or life have been harmed because of an adequate medical assistance, the suffered persons may demand compensation of the harm. This right is secured by the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus and is realized in the frames of the civil law. Analyses of the conditions obliging compensation of the harm inflicted in medical interference is important for the medical and judicial practice as well as for improvement of legislation.
