The article presents the data of the clinical effectiveness of a new method of treating patients with atherosclerosis of lower limb arteries using platelet-rich plasma (PRP) of autologous or allogeneic origin. It has been established that local application of PRP allows achieving a higher clinical and social effect in patients with chronic arterial insufficiency of stages IIa and IIb, preventing the progression of the disease, and in most cases — regressing clinical signs, avoiding the development of critical ischemia of the lower limb with the need to perform surgical treatment, improve the quality of life, preserve the functional state and support physical capabilities of the lower limb.
