The article is devoted to modern aspects of the etiology, epidemiology, molecular epidemiology of coronavirus infection caused by SARS-CoV, MERS-CoV, SARS-CoV-2. The authors present data on the history of the discovery of human coronaviruses, the structural organization of the virus genome, pathogenesis, origin and natural reservoirs.
