The article presents an assessment of the Noofen effectiveness in the neurometabolic therapy of pediatric patients with speech impairments. The effect of the Noofen course treatment on the functions of visual gnosis, symbolic and oral praxis, memory and thinking was studied in the cohort of selected patients by means of specialized tests. The Noofen was established to effect positively on the improvement of the studied functions parameters in pediatric patients with speech dysontogenesis. An increase in the number of tasks performed for assessing the oral praxis by imitation (p<0.0001) and by instruction (p<0.0001) as well as the symbolic praxis by instruction (p=0.003) was determined. A positive dynamics in performing tests for recognizing realistic (p<0.0001) and superimposed (p<0.006) images was recorded. A dynamics in the memorized words numbers after the 1st (p<0.028), 2nd (p<0.002), 4th (p<0.035), and 5th (p<0.019) repetitions during the test “10 words” memorization according to A. R. Luria was determined. A pronounced improvement in the ability for subject-effective, visual-figurative, and verbal-logical thinking was revealed (p<0.0001). It is recommended for Noofen to be included in the rehabilitation course for children with speech dysfunctions to strengthen the interhemispheric interaction and to increase the pedagogical correction productivity.
