ACHIEVED SYSTEMIC THROMBOLYSIS IN CASE OF COVID-19- ASSOCIATED STROKE

The clinical observation of a young patient who acutely developed the stroke against the current coronavirus infection without other risk factors is presented. In this case, the stroke had haemorheological nature as it had been caused by hypercoagulation due to exposure to coronavirus SARS-CoV-2. The patient was given systemic thrombolysis the clinical effect being rapid and good. Other risk factors, development mechanisms, diagnostics and selection of the COVID-19-related stroke therapy were considered. It is emphasized that systemic thrombolysis performed taking into account all known contraindications can be the method of choice for managing patients with COVID-19- related stroke.
