The energy spending by a heart and needs in oxygen and blood volumes for delivering by the network of coronary vessels to myocardial cells are discussed. The features of the blood flow in the coronary vessels during various phases of the cardiac cycle and the regulation of the coronary blood flow by the autonomic nervous system, by signaling molecules and other mechanisms providing adjustment of the blood flow to the needs of metabolic changes, hemodynamics changes and mechanical factors influence on the vessels are considered. The election sensitivity of the subepicardial, intramural, subendocardial microcirculatory vessels to the action of the regulatory factors as a special problem of the coronary blood flow regulation and
of the hemodynamic compliance maintenance in different parts of the network coronary circulation are discussed.
