The review contains the literature data of recent years about the varicocele etiology, pathogenesis, and treatment in patients of various age groups. Particular emphasis is placed on the infertility treatment in patients with varicocele using antioxidants; a significant improvement in spermogram parameters has been shown when using varicocele and antioxidants.
