The article describes modern approaches to improving the quality of medical care taking into account not only the direct requirements to the quality of medical services provided but also those considering the patient’s safety. Indicators of the structure, of the process and of the result quality are described characterizing each group of indicators in detail. The role of the safety culture in a medical team is shown.
