ERRORS AND COMPLICATIONS AFTER GLUCOCORTICOSTEROID INTRA-ARTICULAR AND PERIARTICULAR INJECTIONS

Glucocorticosteroid administration is aimed at making the risk of complications minimal the analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects being good. However, many doctors are used to make the procedure exceedingly often last time. Therefore, the article is focused on complications after glucocorticosteroid local administration and the most frequent errors during those manipulations. The analysis is based on the records of the patients hospitalized into Rheumatologic Department of Minsk Municipal Clinical Hospital No 11. In addition, the outcomes of recent studies of efficiency of the glucocorticosteroid local administration for managing certain nosologic forms of musculoskeletal system pathology are demonstrated.
