The article highlights the milestones of scientific work of Prof. A.V. Rutskiy, Dr. of Med.Sc., Academician of the National Academy of Sciences, Rector of the Belarusian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education, Head of the Chair of Traumatology and Orthopedics. His input in the development of healthcare and postgraduate education of medical doctors in Belarus is reflected in the manuscript.
