CUSTOMER-ORIENTED VECTORS FOR PROMOTING THE EXPORT OF MEDICAL SERVICES IN THE GRODNO REGION

The export of medical services in the Republic of Belarus and in the Grodno region is influenced by the epidemiological situation in the world. There is a decrease in demand for medical services due to restrictive measures abroad, the re-profiling of a number of healthcare organizations to provide medical care to patients with covid infection, and a number of other organizational measures during the pandemic. At the same time the preservation of the export potential of the Belarusian healthcare, the trust of foreign patients and the assessment of their satisfaction remain priorities in the implementation of the Joint Action Plan of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus for the development of trade, economic and investment cooperation.

Objective. To define customer-oriented vectors for promoting the export of medical services in healthcare organizations of the Grodno region.

Materials and methods. Sociological survey of 297 English-speaking foreigners who requested medical assistance
in healthcare organizations of Grodno during 2020 was carried out.

Results. The paper identifies the key components that reduce the assessments of foreign patients: online counseling, the availability of information about the export opportunities of a healthcare organization on the website and in social networks, language practice and the conversational level of English among medical workers.
